WordPress Plain Text Paste Plugin Version 0.3

Word!Now compatible with WP 2.1!

Get it while it’s hot:

This plugin adds buttons to the WordPress rich text editor (TinyMCE) for pasting in clipboard content as plain text. Don’t trash your layout by pasting in text from Microsoft Word anymore.

Thanks to the TinyMCE paste plugin now being a part of the WordPress distribution, the plugin is now just one file. Extract nds-paste.php and upload it to your wp-content/plugins folder.
If you have a previous version of the plugin installed, delete the nds-paste folder from your plugins directory.

This plugin is only compatible with WordPress versions 2.1 and newer. Here is the 2.0x compatible version.

    @chris
What browser and platform are you on?
What version of WordPress are you using?
Do you have any other RTE plugins enabled?

    I have tested it on FF2, IE6, IE7, and Opera 9.

Is it compatible with the newest upgrade 2.1.3? Seems like it isn’t working.
    Thanks Jay

Anybody who is having problems, first try clearing the cache on your browser. I’ve installed it on a number of blogs without issue. If you are still having problems, email me (pete@lincolnloop.com) and we’ll get to the bottom of it.

    Hi,
I’m using the Xpress (Wordpress) module in Xoops and am really having a problem with the code copied from MS Word. I read about your plugin and wondered if there was anything equivalent for Xpress for Xoops?

    Cheers,
    Tracy

    Firefox 2,
    Wordpress 2.1.3

    Did anyone solve this?

Excellent plugin! Thanks! Just the thing for non-tech savvy clients using wp as a cms.

btw, those having probs seeing the buttons, simply clear your cache. One of the handiest plug-ins for firefox is the clear cache button. use it.
