Senior DevOps Engineer
Brendan has been using Linux and managing systems since he was a kid, back when high-speed internet was still a distant dream and “Infrastructure as Code” was just a random collection of words. With nearly two decades of experience in Backend Development, DevOps, and Platform Engineering, he’s helped scale infrastructure for nonprofits, startups, and Fortune 500 companies. At Wayfair, he helped form the Python Platform team that played a pivotal role in transforming Python from a niche data science tool to the most widely used language for production systems, driving innovation in developer tooling and CI/CD processes and supporting nearly 1,000 Python Engineers. A Python and Docker enthusiast, Brendan specializes in building automation and improving developer experience to keep teams productive and happy.
Living on a dirt road in the Green Mountains of Vermont, Brendan spends his free time embracing the outdoors with his three young kids. Whether coaching soccer, mountain biking, or camping, he’s always up for an adventure—sometimes including the quest to find cell phone coverage.
