Django for Hire
Lincoln Loop has been in “head down” mode for the last couple months. In addition to being knee deep in client projects, we have grown from a one-man development studio to a full-fledged Django development shop/consultancy. We are proud to announce that Lincoln Loop is the first (that we know of) company focusing solely on Django application development. Our development team is currently five strong and oozing with talent. Each member contributes to the community in blog posts or open source add-ons; a few of us have contributed code to Django itself. More on our dev team in the near future.
We went through the typical growing pains during the transition, but the kinks are worked out and we can officially say that we are open for business. Django projects big and small, send them our way. Our devs can handle nearly anything.
- New Django projects based on your specs
- Existing projects when your developer doesn’t have the time, doesn’t have the expertise or just skipped out on you
- Scaling up your existing development team for large feature pushes
- Ellington customization
You name it, if it is Django related, we can probably help. Don’t be shy, drop us a line.

@gregnewman Yeah, we actually use Wave quite a bit. Found it to be great for longer-running asynchronous group conversations.

Nice to see another Django shop out there ;) Not quite the first though. My company has been doing dedicated Django work for about a year and a half, which includes Django event management.
Hope all goes well!
Thanks Robert!
I know there are a few shops using Django almost exclusively out there, but I’ve yet to see anyone market as their primary area of expertise. I checked out your site (nice BTW) and it looks like Siu Design is primarily a design firm. Therein lies the difference. Lincoln Loop is primarily a Django development shop.
As Technical Director of Siu Design, I can assure you we’re not ;) There are two streams, one of which is design (so yes we have that aspect) and the other is development – consulting, developing, improving and promoting Django. I just happen to like keeping design within the company and enjoy the flexibility it gives me, but it doesn’t always work like that. If we were just primarily a design firm, with no development stream, i’d be pretty bored ;)
Either way, it’s nice to see another Django development shop out there.
